Gilmour and Aitken, hardwood suppliers since 1852, import over thirty different species from around the world. Their sister company, Aitken and Howard Ltd, is a specialist supplier of Greenheart, as well as other marine and constructional timbers based in Jamestown and East Sussex. They are one of the few companies companies in Europe with graders certified to grade hardwood timber to BS5756:1997 and BS5268 Part 2:2002. They have 30 years of experience in offering advice and constructional timbers for oil rigs, launch runners, lock gates and decking.
